Taoyi(Jasper) Chen

Hi! I'm Taoyi Chen, or Jasper if you like. I am currently a first-year Ph.D. student in Statistics at The Ohio State University. I previously received master's degrees in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management and Applied Statistics from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I also hold dual degrees in Mathematics and Finance from Wuhan University Hongyi Honor College. My current research interests include latent variable models, causal inference, and statistical machine learning.

Research Interests

I am interested in latent variable models, causal inference, and statistical machine learning. In particular, I enjoy exploring statistical theory, developing new methodologies, and creating efficient computational tools for analyzing high-dimensional and complex data, with potential applications in large-scale educational assessments, psychological measurement, and financial data.
